Calgary withstood an impressive performance by Baton Rouge shortstop Luis Davila to defeat the Outlaws, 5-4, at Coca Cola Stadium. Davila was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. The winner was Ray Saltzman, who threw 105 pitches over 7.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 12 hits. Dan Halcomb was credited with the save.
