The Mustangs had to overcome a good performance from Astoria pitcher David Guzman to claim a 4-3 win at Cobb Field. Guzman went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Billings occupies last place in the TMLAAA Cito Gaston League at 34-56.

Rich Mitchell had a go-ahead double for Billings in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and a runner on 2nd, the 28-year old shortstop hit a run-scoring double off Chris Walker. His 14th double of the season made the score 4-3.

"I really like what we did out there today," Mitchell said after the game.
