Antioch catcher Alex Sanchez had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Sanchez went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice, even as Tallahassee beat the Coal Miners, 6-5. Juan Ibarra picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-4. Ken Blais was tagged with the loss. Antioch is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 7 in a row.

Tallahassee took a 6-4 lead on Griffin Matte's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Matte hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Antioch pitcher Ken Blais visibly frustrated.

"Everyone's kind of edgy right now," said losing manager Jordan Hay, "but nothing a couple of wins wouldn't cure."
