Freeze Take Tight Tangle
The Minneapolis Freeze had to overcome a big game from Fort Worth left fielder Jonah Blagdon to leave The Ice Box with a victory. And they did, winning, 6-5. Blagdon was 2-3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The win was credited to Joe Jungbauer in relief. His record improves to 1-2. John Goff took the loss. The setback makes Fort Worth 36-49.

Had Nathan Albury not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Albury hit a 2-run single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Freeze.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Albury.
