Swallowtails Walk Off with 4-3 Win
State College starter Eric Church pitched effectively against the Thunder Bay Black Bears at Stars Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The 'W' lifts State College's record to 35-40.

Paul Matherne was the walk-off hero for State College. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Swallowtails pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The crowd flipped out," Church said.
