The Madison Muskies defeated the Bowling Green Racers, 10-9, in 10 innings at The Corral. Daniel Reyes produced 2 singles and 1 double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Madison pitcher Dave Dupuis earned the win, hiking his record to 5-7. David Heisler suffered the loss. By defeating Bowling Green, the 5th-place Muskies improved to 38-48.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the tenth, an error by the Racers allowed the Muskies to score the winning run.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Zalesky said.
