Jake Sandlin made an impact in the 7-3 Albuquerque win over Fort Worth. Sandlin, who is tied for 7th in the RAAA in RBI with 56, was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Albuquerque is now 42-43, Fort Worth 38-46.

Sandlin had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the first for the Cacti. Coming up with runners on 1st and 3rd and Albuquerque trailing 2-1, he hit a 3-run home run.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Albuquerque manager Matt Wells.
