Cowboys Take Nail-Biter Over Armadillos
The Calgary Cowboys beat the Amarillo Armadillos by a score of 5-2. Calgary center fielder Chris Cassell deserved the lion's share of the credit. Cassell slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Cowboys. Calgary reliever Bill Wolfe was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Dan Jacobs. The Cowboys, at 32-39, sit in 5th place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Cassell hit a knuckle curve from Arturo Contreras for a 3-run home run. The Cowboys, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Cassell.
