Dallas took on Bighorn in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Matt White, in particular, was fantastic. The Dallas right-hander helped his team snag the win, 3-0. White, the winner, moves to 3-0. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up 1 walk. Jeff Dempsey was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save.

Jose Vega had a big 2-run double for the Texans in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Dallas leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a sinker from Jeff Lee, who finished 2nd in the RCL in strikeouts with 179 in 2061, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Texans ahead, 3-0.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Dallas manager Lester Burrow.

The Texans, with only their 6th win in 21 games, could be the worst team in the league.
