No matter what the Albany Firebirds threw at him, Marshall Knapp hit it. He easily handled Firebirds pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Bumblebees triumph, 29-5, at Capital Grounds.

"The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Knapp's quip, Firebirds skipper Garry Rabenek said he "would take him up on that next time."

Marshall Knapp singled in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a three-run home run off Mark Buchholz in the 8th, singled in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off Israel Sanchez in the 9th.
