Jared Mix never let the Freeze get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Cacti to a win, 4-0. The Cacti are now 44-38.

The Cacti got a big at-bat from center fielder Bill Pride. For the game, Pride was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs. In the top of the second, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 13th home run of the season gave Albuquerque a 1-0 lead.

"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Mix after the game.
