The Minneapolis Freeze welcomed the Peoria Caterpillars to an night game at The Ice Box.

Behind the bravura of designated hitter Jeremy Owusu, the Minneapolis Freeze topped the Peoria Caterpillars by the score of 10-5. Owusu hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Freeze. Josh Lassiter earned the win for Minneapolis. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 5 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 2-1.

With Minneapolis trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Owusu hit a sinker from Dan Boulter for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Freeze ahead, 3-1.

"I just try to bring what I bring to this team," said Owusu.

The third-place Freeze lifted their record to 35-33.
