Captains 4-1 Winners Over Amarillo
The Tallahassee Captains handed the Amarillo Armadillos a 4-1 defeat at Armadillos Park. Center Fielder Jeremy Domanski starred for Tallahassee. He went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Tallahassee reliever David del Olmo snagged the win, upping his record to 3-0. Mike Downey shouldered the loss. The second-place Captains improved to 44-35.

With Tallahassee leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Domanski hit a sinker from Mike Downey for a 3-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Captains ahead, 4-0.

"Makes our job easier," said Domanski, "when our pitchers shut the opposition down."
