The Astoria Argonauts buried the Thunder Bay Black Bears, 13-2, under a barrage of hits. Jaden Edwards led the onslaught, going 3-for-4 for Astoria. Jason Evans got the win, improving to 6-8. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 5 hits and 1 run, while striking out 6 and walking 4. The Argonauts raised their record to 38-42.
Astoria used the hitting of Juan Castaneda to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Argonauts on top, 2-0. For the game, Castaneda had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
