Cozumel Beaches starter Pedro Leon was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Peoria Caterpillars, 4-3, in 11 innings. The Beaches, at 38-42, sit in 5th place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division.

The Beaches got a clutch hit from catcher Matthew Holbrook. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Beaches.

In postgame remarks, Holbrook said: "I'm proud of our guys, of their fight."
