The Fairfield Flash routed the Acadia Park Nationals, 11-2, at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Jason Gonick was one of the hitting stars. He went 3-4 with 3 singles and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Fairfield. The Flash have an impressive 43-25 record.

With Fairfield leading 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Gonick hit a 2-run single off Acadia Park hurler David Harkey. It was the 3rd hit of the season for Gonick and put his team ahead, 4-0.

"Jason may be green behind the ears," said Flash manager Edward Batkin. "But he's quickly learning how to contribute."
