First Baseman Noah Kate made an impact for Albuquerque, when he swatted a run-scoring double off John Tait in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Kate went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs.

"Winning is contagious," said Kate. "We're looking forward to the next game."
