The home crowd came to cheer on their first-place Calgary Hitmen.

The Calgary Hitmen finished off the Indianapolis Ambition, 5-4. Much of the credit belonged to designated hitter Bruce Rivero. Rivero went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times for the Hitmen. Picking up the save was Eric Lewis. He's now 19 for 23 in save chances.

Devon Bagley helped out the Calgary cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Bagley.

Calgary is looking good at 51-24.
