Wind Sneak By Muskies, 9-8
Jeremy LeJeune did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Madison Muskies from being beaten, 9-8, to the Waimea Wind at The Wind Tunnel. LeJeune hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Reliever Aidan MacNevin picked up the win. His record improves to 3-2. Tim Tate took the loss. Daniel Castro, credited with the save, is now 20 for 22 in save opportunities.

The Wind beat the Muskies in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Malcolm Johnson produced in the bottom of the eighth. Batting against Tim Tate, Johnson gave his team the lead, 9-8, when he hit a run-scoring single.

"The vibe's good," said Waimea manager Orlando González. "We've got to keep it going."

The third-place Wind have won 4 straight.
