Despite a fine performance by first baseman Daniel Slayton, the Hendersonville Hens lost to the Thunder Bay Black Bears, 7-3. Slayton went 4-4 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 2. Thunder Bay starter Alejandro Aragon was credited with the win after throwing 99 pitches over 6 innings.
