The Minneapolis Freeze earned a close win over the Amarillo Armadillos, thanks in part to Aymeric Chili. The Minneapolis right-hander, who is tied for 7th in the TAAA with a 3.21 ERA, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Mike O'Neil, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 13th save. The triumph puts Minneapolis at 33-30 for the season.
Dan Austin had a direct impact on the outcome. Austin contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the seventh inning to put Minneapolis up, 3-2.
"Every loss stings," said Amarillo manager Tyler Bulman. "This one is no exception."
