Cats Earn Win with Late Rally
In a high-scoring game between Fort Worth and Amarillo, right fielder Manuel Zumaya was a difference-maker. The 28-year-old helped Fort Worth grab the 10-9 win. He was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 2. Reliever Jeff Dempsey picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Wayne Blanchard, who is tied for 3rd in the TAAA in holds with 6, took the loss. With the win, the Cats have a record of 31-41.

The decisive blow was delivered by Ryan Wasilewski in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 22-year old left-handed pitcher Wayne Blanchard to win the game for Fort Worth. The home crowd went nuts.

"Ugly win or not, we'll take it," said Wasilewski.
