Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Minneapolis Freeze got the win.

The Minneapolis Freeze picked up a win at The Hole, defeating the Pasadena Bumblebees, 4-2, in 10 innings. Starting pitcher Karl Harrison was an essential part of his team's success. The third-place Freeze hiked their record to 32-29.

Minneapolis used a timely hit from Sam Nyholm to get the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Freeze ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said Pasadena manager David Williams.
