The San Francisco Earthquakes outscored the Buffalo Bison, 11-10. Mike Young led the way, going 2-for-4 for San Francisco. The loss makes Buffalo 11-11.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Bison allowed the Earthquakes to score the winning run.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Young said.
