The Billings Mustangs turned back the Albany Firebirds, 7-6, at Capital Grounds. Sam Callahan, in particular, had a fine performance. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Alex Mata earned the save for Billings, his 5th of the year. The win gives the Mustangs a record of 16-44.

Callahan had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a full count slider from Manny Fajardo, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Mustangs a 6-3 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Callahan.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Callahan. "You've got to get results."
