Led by Manuel Cuebas, the Minneapolis Freeze defeated the Pasadena Bumblebees, 9-5. Cuebas went 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Freeze. Minneapolis pitcher Jason Grant earned the win, hiking his record to 1-1. Jeremy Parker suffered the loss. The Freeze bumped their record to 31-29 with this win.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Cuebas delivered big-time for Minneapolis, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Jeremy Parker. The game-changing hit put the Freeze on top, 7-5.

"We're producers not directors," said Cuebas. "Produce a good swing. Can't direct where it goes."
