Dollak Shines in 8-7 Billings Win
|
The Billings Mustangs defeated the Albany Firebirds by the score of 8-7, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Tommy Dollak. Dollak was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Mustangs on the day. Ricky Maldonado was the winner. He's now 2-7. The loser was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Jim Metcalfe. The last-place Mustangs own a record of 15-44.
Early in the game, Dollak had a 3-run home run for Billings. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Mustangs on top, 3-0.
