The Calgary Hitmen picked up a win at Mckinley Park, knocking off the Thunder Bay Black Bears, 7-3. Starting pitcher Seth Watkins was an essential part of his team's success. Watkins, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 3, and allowing 1 earned run. The Hitmen improve their record to 36-35 with the win over Thunder Bay.
