The Cabo San Lucas Toreros topped the Kansas City Tornadoes by a score of 7-4. Leading the way was third baseman Chris Hogan. Hogan was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Toreros. Victor Gonzalez closed the game out for Cabo San Lucas, earning his 6th save. With the loss, Kansas City drops to 10-14.

There was more than one reason the Toreros beat the Tornadoes, but Hogan's big at-bat in the top of the third was an important factor. He staked his team to a 3-1 lead when he hit a 2-run single.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Hogan told the Cabo San Lucas Daily News.
