The Calgary Kodiaks defeated the State College Swallowtails, 4-2, in TML AAA action at Stars Field. Calgary pitcher James McColl had a standout performance. Calgary is now 26-32. State College is 20-36.

Eduardo Gomez had a direct impact on the outcome. Gomez contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Calgary up, 4-2.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said McColl. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
