The Hawaii Honu topped the Bighorn Bison, 6-4, in Roberto Clemente League action at Aloha Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Hawaii pitcher Jose Medrano. Joe Fleury finished the game for Hawaii and earned his 4th save. The loss drops Bighorn to 8-13.

Hawaii took a 6-4 lead on Miles Sorrells's 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Sorrells hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Bighorn pitcher Austin Gray visibly frustrated.

"Jose pitched his heart out," said Hawaii manager Naoki Okada.
