The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

Waimea catcher Chris Crofts contributed significantly to his team's 8-7 win over the Pasadena Bumblebees. Crofts, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2061 draft, went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Wind. Aidan MacNevin, now 2-2, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Waimea trailing 7-5, Crofts jumped on a fastball from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Akzer Ohyancha and hit a 3-run home run to right. With one swing, the Wind had a walk-off win.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Crofts said in his postgame press conference.

With the win, Waimea pushed its record to 30-29.
