The Bowling Green Racers banked on Alex Blanco and he turned in a masterful performance. The left-hander kept the Minneapolis hitters in check. The final score was 2-1, Racers. David Heisler earned save number 2 this season. The setback makes Minneapolis 31-35.

Bowling Green took a 2-0 lead on Philip Long's 18th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Long hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Minneapolis pitcher Devin Gammon visibly frustrated.

"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Minneapolis manager Ben Jeffcoat.
