The Acadia Park Nationals faced a tough opponent in Minneapolis pitcher Karl Harrison, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Ice Box by a final score of 6-1. Harrison went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. Ernesto Villagrana picked up the win, improving his season record to 5-7. He struck out 4 in 6.1 innings. Acadia Park is now 17-39, Minneapolis 28-27.

The Nationals got a big at-bat from third baseman Ruben Lagunas. For the game, Lagunas went 1-4 with a home run. In the top of the first, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Acadia Park a 1-0 lead.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Acadia Park skipper Bryan Blashill.
