The Bowling Green Racers got a sterling performance from pitcher Jesus Giron, but the Pasadena Bumblebees still prevailed, 9-6. Giron threw 6.1 innings of 1-hit ball. Marcos Medrano snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-0 on the season. Tyler Moss suffered the loss. The triumph puts Pasadena at 31-27 for the season.

Pasadena took the lead, 9-5, on Worku Gogo's 5th home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Bowling Green pitcher Jacob Spitler in the bottom of the eighth.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Gogo told the Pasadena Citizen.
