Cacti Earn 8-6 Win Against Kodiaks
No one was more impactful than Noah Kate in an extra-inning, 8-6 Albuquerque win over Calgary. Kate, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2062 draft, went 4-6 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Jose Alvarez got credit for the win, improving to 3-4. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. With the win, Albuquerque has a record of 35-30. Calgary falls to 30-33.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Kate delivered big-time for Albuquerque, stroking a dramatic 2-run double off John Driscoll. The game-changing hit put the Cacti on top, 8-6.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Cacti manager .
