A 5-RBI performance from right fielder Chris Saipe, who is tied for 3rd in the TAAA in runs scored with 47, led the Minneapolis Freeze to a 17-8 win over the Candiac Redbirds. The Redbirds, now 14-50, have lost 10 in a row.

Saipe had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from Jason Loer, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Freeze a 10-8 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Saipe.

"It feels good to get this one," Saipe told the Minneapolis Daily.
