The Antioch Coal Miners wasted an inspired, 8-inning effort from starter Rich Swayngim, falling, 1-0, to the State College Swallowtails at Stars Field. Justin Vasile earned the win. Rich Swayngim, who leads the TAAA with a 2.29 ERA, took the loss for Antioch. The Swallowtails now own a record of 31-32.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Alex Fernandez was at the plate when State College scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Swallowtails to go in front, 1-0.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Jordan Hay. "That was the problem."
