Vale Stars in 11-6 Millers Win
The Milwaukee Millers downed the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 11-6, at Field de Los Layendas. Mike Vale led the way, going 3-for-4 for Milwaukee. The winning pitcher was Alex Solis. He's now 1-2. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 5 runs on 6 hits for the Millers. The Toreros drop to 8-12, as their stumbling start to the 2062 season continues.

Vale contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Milwaukee in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 5-3, Vale took a fastball from Ken Fellows and stroked the home run to center. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Millers to leap in front, 6-5.

"I feel like a little kid every time I put the uniform on," said Vale.
