Loss to Wind Extends Indianapolis Losing Streak
The 5-4 Waimea win over Indianapolis was due largely to Juan Reyes. The Wind left fielder went 3-3 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. Waimea pitcher Justin Sweat got the win, upping his record to 3-6. Justin Montana got the loss. Daniel Castro closed out the game, earning his 15th save.

Waimea used the timely hitting of Ian Campbell to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Wind on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Waimea manager Orlando González.
