Shane Ewing, the 9th overall pick in the 2060 draft, came through for Anchorage with a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh. The designated hitter went 3 for 4 for the game, including 2 home runs and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and collected 2 RBI.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Fairfield manager Edward Batkin. "The effort was great."
