The State College Swallowtails tallied a win at Stars Field, throttling the Fort Worth Cats, 4-2. Starting pitcher Eli Carpenter was a big reason for his team's success. The last-place Swallowtails now have a win-loss record of 19-32.

The Swallowtails got a big at-bat from catcher Kai Waga. For the game, Waga was 1-2 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave State College a 2-1 lead.

"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said Waga.
