The Hendersonville Hens and Fairfield Flash obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

Fairfield left fielder Trent Planty had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Planty went 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2, even as Hendersonville beat the Flash, 5-4. With the win over Fairfield, the Hens improved to 24-28.

Eddie Belkin helped out the Hendersonville cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the catcher drew 2 walks.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Belkin told the Hendersonville Times. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
