Powered by Jeremy Huggins, the Madison Muskies downed the Billings Mustangs, 6-5. Huggins was 2-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Muskies. Madison pitcher Bernard Sabato earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Ken Pratt suffered the loss. Doug Decker closed out the game, earning his 1st save.

Huggins had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-2 cutter from Ken Pratt, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Muskies a 6-5 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Huggins.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Huggins told the Madison Daily.

Madison is now 25-24, while Billings is 13-37.
