Antioch withstood an impressive performance by San Jose center fielder Josh George to defeat the Marshals, 4-3, at The Coal Mine. George went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. San Jose has now lost 4 in a row.
In the bottom of the fifth, Antioch left fielder Brian Martin had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and two out, Martin stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 2-1, Antioch. For the game, he was 1-3 with a walk.
