The Minneapolis Freeze outlasted Roberto Gomez and the Astoria Argonauts, 12-10. Gomez was impressive in the loss. The Astoria left fielder was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Picking up his 11th save was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Mike O'Neil. Minneapolis, now 25-23, holds down 4th place in the TML AAA Joe Torre Division.

Chris Williams provided a timely hit. The Minneapolis pinch hitter delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Freeze on top, 10-9. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"Crazy game," said Williams after it ended.
