Tallahassee used a superb performance from starting pitcher Jay Ocker to down the Pasadena Bumblebees, 4-0. The Captains, at 25-24, sit in second place in the TML AAA Joe Torre Division.

Ocker imposed his will on the Bumblebees, scattering 3 hits over 8 innings while striking out 8. The right-hander upped his season record to 3-2.

"Jay pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said Tallahassee manager Luis Sánchez.
