The Havana Stogies topped the Walnut Creek Warriors, 8-4, in Roberto Clemente League action at Castlerock Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Havana first baseman Maurice Edwards. The Stogies raised their record to 10-9.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Carlos Arevalo? The Havana right fielder had a bases-clearing double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Stogies on top, 6-4. For the game, Arevalo had 2 doubles and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
