The Wind Tunnel was the site of a competitive game between the Waimea Wind and Fairfield Flash.
The Fairfield Flash topped the Waimea Wind, 4-2, in RCL AAA action at The Wind Tunnel. The player of the game was Fairfield pitcher and Costa Rica native Héctor Bello. With the win, the Flash improved to 30-27.
It could have been a different outcome for Fairfield, had it not been for Ross Centner, the 27-year old shortstop . Centner contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Fairfield up, 3-0.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Bello told the Fairfield News.
