Lefty Witten Leads Indianapolis to 2-0 Win
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Indianapolis Ambition and the Fairfield Flash, Will Witten, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2060 draft, was the difference-maker. The Indianapolis left-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. The Ambition, at 25-32, inhabit 5th place in the TML AAA Joe Torre Division.
Witten was the winning pitcher. He raised his season record to 1-1. In 8 innings of work, Witten gave up no runs on 3 hits, while striking out 6. The Flash were never able to generate much offense.
"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Witten.
