The Reno Raiders got a stellar performance from pitcher Gilles Bousquet, who handcuffed the Bowling Green offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Top of the Hill. The win for the Raiders lifted their record to 30-26.

Had Troy Tobias not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Tobias hit a 2-run single. That made the score 3-1, in favor of the Raiders.

In postgame remarks, Tobias hailed his team's "mettle."
